Abu Ishaq Ibrahim al-Naji (d. 900)


Ascetic and muhaddith of Damascus, geneologist, expert in biographies of sahaba and rijal, who narrated from Ibn Hajar al-`Asqalani. He put al-Suyuti's "al-`uqyân" into rhyme.


Buried about 20 armlengths west of  sayyidina Mu`ayiah in Bab al-Saghir.
