Allah, send blessings over (the beloved) Muhammad
O Alllah bless him and send him peace

A visitor to the Rawda, addressed the Prophet (s)saying:
When people ask us: You went to visit, what have you brought back? -
O most noble of mankind, what do we reply?

He then heard a voice from the chamber of the Prophet(s):
Say: We came back with all good,
Branches being reunited with their roots.

He then thanked him (s), remebering his (s) favours:
Where it not for you, o beauty of all existence,
Nothing of my life and being would be of good.

I would not recite any prayers,
Nor bow nor prostrate.

O nights of blessings,
Return, that by you my branch may become green!

Return and bring us all good,
By the Elect, the Benefactor!

Blessings be then upon our Prophet,
And upon his Family, who bow and prostrate.

Om någon frågar: vad för ni med er
från ert besök hos den generöse?
Säg: vi för med oss det allrabästa:
vår stam fann åter sina rötter.

Och genom dig, o skapelsens smycke,
blir vår åkallan och våra böner
och våra liv goda och rena –
och din gren gör våra grenar gröna.

Allah, välsigna den som du utvalt
till att förkunna för oss Ditt budskap
och alla dem från hans ädla stam, som
åkallar Dig i sina böner.
