Sayyiduna Husayn was martyred
at Kerbala, and
his head was brought to Damascus. It is buried in the south-eastern
corner of the Umawi mosque.

Some of his descendents are
buried in Bab al Saghir: [Ziarat al-Sham p. 76-77]
(the latter two buried in the
same grave togehter w. Umm al-Hasan's husband and son)
