Yâ
nâzhiran li-mithâli na`li nibiyyin
qabbil
mithâla al-na`li lâ mutakabbiran
wa-msih biwajhika na`lahu idh
massahu
qadamu
al-nabiyyyi
murawwihan wa
mubakkiran.
O you who looks at the image of the Prophet's Sandal
kiss the the Sandal's image without
arrogance,
And touch with your face his Sandal – Lo, the
Prophet's foot touched it when setting
out
evening
and
morning.
O du som ser bilden av Profetens sko:
kyss bilden av Profetens sko utan
högmod,
och låt hans sko röra vid ditt ansikte, ty vid den rörde
Profetens fot, då han gick ut morgonen
och kväll.
